Now you can be confident you'll get there on time!

We're happy to announce that we've been able to deliver one of the most requested updates to the app.

You'll now have much more accurate driving times to your shifts!

Travel Times for Car or Public Transport!

Simply select your travel preference, whether it's driving 🚗 or public transport 🚌 the app will show you how long it will take to get to your shift!

You can select this by going to your "Shift Preferences" from the home screen.

Brand new shift acceptance screen to help you make decisions quicker 🚀

We've been working hard to revamp the shift acceptance screen for you.

After weeks of gathering comments from Educators about what you find important about taking shifts, and also Centres about the important information they would like you to know before you accept, we're happy to announce we've come up and launched the new Shift Acceptance Screen.

Some helpful info right up front. The Centre, info on transport, how much you can get paid.

We know that getting to and from the center easily is important to you.

So, we've given centres the ability to give you information about how close each centre is to buses and trains, and if there's a place to park. Now, you can quickly see the travel information you need at a glance to give you confidence about the shift you are about to take.

A map on the screen to show you where the centre is compared to your home.

You will now have a map that shows you where the centre is located compared to your home. This will give you a quick idea on where you will be working.

You can also tap on the icon on the top right to open the map in your favourite maps app to get more accurate travel times and directions.

Info on shift times, unpaid break expectations, and accept/propose times.

We've made it much easier to understand the shift timings by changing the layout. Now it's much clearer to understand when the shift start and finish times are, what you unpaid break expectations are, and yes... you can accept and propose times for the shift same as before.

Quick access to the centre profiles

Tap the Centre Profile tab to get quick access to more information about the centre, where it is, view the centre highlights and also get more information on any expectations they want you to have before accepting the shift.

YOU CAN NOW BE FAVOURITED BY CENTRES! 💙

We've introduced a way for Centres to "favourite" you, and being favourited comes with some awesome perks!

Being favourited by a Centre comes with the advantage of being at the front of the line to receive notifications when the Centres posts new shifts. This is a massive reward for you when you do great work at a centre.

When a Centre favorites you, it means you'll be the first to know when they have new shifts available. It's a substantial recognition and reward for your outstanding performance at a Centre.

SMALL CHANGES TO THE HOME SCREEN

We've made a slight adjustment to your home screen. You'll be able to see which Centres have favourited you, and you can also view the shifts available at these Centres.

To check your favorite centres and see if they have any available shifts, just tap the "Favourites" tile with the heart icon. If there are shifts, you can tap again to view them for that specific centre.

IMPORTANT! 🤔 HOW DO YOU BECOME A FAVOURITE? 🤔

Our efforts at Z are designed to benefit both Centres and you, the Educator. And here's a crucial tip: by being an exceptional educator, you'll find yourself on the favourites list!

When all of us educators strive to do our best by being professional, engaged, friendly, supportive, and proactive, we become the B.E.S.T. we can be, this not only increases our chances of being favourited by more centres but also enhances the overall experience for all educators on Z. When centres see our excellence, they'll want to use our services more often and post more shifts, benefiting everyone.

PLEASE don’t ask to be favourited... it defeats the purpose. Instead, just continue being your dedicated and hardworking self, and you'll naturally find your way onto the list of favourites.
