We’re thrilled to introduce a revamped Centre Home Screen for an enhanced Z experience!

• Condensed Banner: Easily view Open Shifts, Today’s Shifts, Proposed Times, and Drafts.

• Quick Access Icons: Access Favourites, Hiring, Reviews, and Timesheets with ease.

• Today’s Educators: See which educators are scheduled for today at a glance. You can also tap on this card to access the quick menu to download their documents!

• Quick Create Cards: Quickly create shifts with pre-filled suggested times.

Centres interested in hiring permanent staff can now filter by certification level, making it easier to find the exact type of educator you need.

The educator’s distance from the centre now shows on the card. This let's you choose the educators that live closes to your centre. 

We've also improved the ranking algorithm of the list, so that the educators we think you will be most interested in will show at the top. This includes such factors as their distance, how many shifts they've completed, their rankings etc!

You can now hire full-time staff from Z Staffing!

Educators can now indicate that they are available to take permanent positions, and if they are near your centre, we'll let you know about them! 

If you're interested in an educator, simply select them from the list and we'll facilitate an introduction.

Whether you need a short shift or a long one, we've got you covered.

You can post shifts up to 10 hours, ensuring coverage even in the trickiest of situations!

Remember that shifts of this length will be charged overtime. For more information on overtime, please read this help article > 

As a user across multiple centers, you can now select the center of your choice for creating a shift. This means that you can post multiple shifts across all the centers you manage all from a single screen!

Simply go to the centre web portal and tap on the "Create bulk shifts" button at the top of the screen. 

Select the centre, date, start time, end time, certification level and bonus amount for your shifts and add them to the list. 

ROLL OUT THE RED CARPET - YOU CAN NOW FAVOURITE EDUCATORS!

This is a highly requested feature that we are now happy to get into your hands! You can now favourite your top Educators! Just look for the shiny new tile on the home screen or pop into the "Account" menu. Plus, take a trip down memory lane with a list of past educators and pick your faves. Happy favouriting! 💙

Whenever you post a shift, your favourites will receive the notification first, then after a designated period of time if the shift is not accepted, it will go out to the rest of our educator pool.

INTRODUCING THE EDUCATOR QUICK MENU

We're thrilled to announce two significant enhancements to your experience.

Introducing the Educator Quick Menu 🫡

We've streamlined the educator sections to offer a quick menu, enabling seamless interactions like viewing profiles, favouriting educators, accessing documents, and managing blocks.

Moreover, the Download Educator Docs From App feature 📄💁‍♀️ is now live. Centre users can conveniently access Educator documents directly within the app. Navigate to your list of educators, tap the “…” icon, then the "Download Documents" option, and you'll receive an email with the Educator's documents attached.

Your experience matters to us, and we're committed to refining and improving the platform to serve your needs better.

NEW CENTRE PROFILES - TELL EDUCATORS EVERYTHING THEY NEED TO KNOW ABOUT YOUR CENTRE

We're excited to share the new way to manage your centre profiles. We have created a much more robust profile section where you can update all the important details about your centre so that Educators are fully aware of all the important details before they take their shift.

We've done our homework by asking Educators what they want to know before they pick a shift. And now, we’ve made sure you can tell them everything they need.

A BRAND NEW REFRESHED AND JAZZED UP HOME SCREEN

It looks much better, right? The blue cards at the top will guide you towards completing important actions in the Z App such as; completing your centre profile, adding new team members, or putting up a new shift. And we’ve got more helpful cards coming to make 'Z' even better for you.

Below that in the overview section, the tiles will tell you if there are timesheets to look at, if an Educator suggests a time for a shift, or the shifts you have open right now. Simply tap on any one of these for quick access to the shifts they are referring to.

If you’re in charge of more than one centre, there’s a dropdown at the top where you can select the centre you want to see.

CREATE MULTIPLE SHIFTS AT ONCE!

Probably one of our most requested features… We know you love the convenience of the app vs. posting from your computer. We’ve heard you, so now you can post multiple shifts all from one screen in the mobile app!

AUTO-REPOST IF SHIFT UNFILLED

You now have even more control over your shifts – when you post a shift(s), you can now select whether you would like the shift to be reposted automatically if it’s not filled within 30mins of the shift starting.

This feature will repost the shift up to 3x assuming the shift is still unfilled.

CHOOSE INDIVIDUAL CERTIFICATIONS FOR SHIFTS

Now, when you post a shift(s), you can select Cert Levels individually to really give you control over your shift posts.

Pro tip: If you leave the selection blank it will post to everyone.

POST A SHIFT FROM ANY SCREEN!

We’re happy to have modernised the bottom menu. You’ll see an updated design that looks far sleeker, but also you’ll notice a big “+” button. Tap on this to post a shift, from any page!

OUR FIRST MAJOR REDESIGN

With such a big change in the app with the Multiple Shift Creation feature, we took the opportunity to redesign some key pages in the app.

We have redesigned:

• New bottom menu bar (don’t worry, everything is still in the same place).
• There is a new “+” icon at the bottom, so you can post a shift from any screen.
• New shift cards (in the shifts tab) that show more relevant info.
• And of course… a completely redesigned shift posting page.

Well done to Penny who made these beautiful new designs happen!

REVIEWING EDUCATORS IS NOW MUCH MORE STREAMLINED

We’ve made reviewing Educators far easier. Simply go to the Done Shifts tab and you’ll be able to review the educator directly from the screen without going into the shift itself.

We regard the collection of reviews and ratings very highly at Z to help us keep both the Educators and Centres accountable to top quality.
